PBR Weekend: Albuquerque, New Mexico Part II

At our store #68 (in Albuquerque, NM) we were lucky enough to have 6 of the top PBR bull riders in the world. Austin Meyer, Travis Briscoe, Shane Proctor, McKennon Wimberly, Renato Nunez and Ryan McConnell all participated in our auto-graph signing on Saturday the 27th. The customers were quite pleased with all the activities that were held. There was pulled pork out of our neighboring Texas Roadhouse for our hungry customers. Also two lovely ladies from Roadhouse volunteered to help with our event as well as visit with our customers to give away free appetizer gift cards. Applebee’s, Twin Peaks, Hooters, Monroe’s Mexican Kitchen and Boston’s were just some of the participants that gave away great gift cards. There was also the PBR Fanzone truck outside along with two mechanical bulls which was complimentary and great for the kids. This is a huge event for NM, and will be for years to come.

PBR Weekend: New Mexico

PBR Weekend hit New Mexico full speed this past weekend. Our Store #65 in Albuquerque, NM was proud to host round 1 winner of the Ty Murray Invitational, Robson Palermo in-store signing autographs last Saturday. He is by far one of the most cordial and professional gentleman we’ve ever worked with. Mr. Palermo signed autographs from 12:20pm – 2pm and even offered to stay later to accommodate all of his fans. During the autograph session, we gave away assorted prizes donated by various local businesses like Applebee’s, Gardunos Mexican Restaurant, Starbucks and Subway to name a few. Store #65 was also quite lucky to have Hooter family restaurant cater the event. They were even nice enough to let two of their lovely waitresses stick around and talk with customers.

Boot Barn managers Kyle M and Tom R were lucky enough to work PBR that weekend. The weather took its toll on them,but they were the hit of the concourse. Tom stayed behind the table doing Q&A with customers while Kyle did his best Pat Sajack impersonation spinning the Boot Barn Prize Wheel. There was definitely no shortage of contestants as the 10-15% off coupons were a huge hit. What an event. We can’t wait for the next one.
